B1389 Woodland Scenics Grey Coarse Ballast Shaker

Description

This is the Woodland Scenics Grey coarse ballast shaker. Grey ballast represents the granite commonly used across Scotland and South West England, and is also the shade most associated with the consistent, crushed granite ballast seen on Britain’s modern mainlines.

This coarse grade shaker holds 945cm3 of material. Coarse grade suits larger scales such as O gauge, or a freshly relaid mainline look where the stone is still large and sharp-edged rather than worn down by traffic. For the best results, apply with Deluxe Materials Ballast Bond rather than a standard glue, which spreads evenly and dries to a stronger, more durable finish.
