B1386 Woodland Scenics Brown Coarse Ballast Shaker

Description

This is the Woodland Scenics Brown coarse ballast shaker. Brown ballast reflects one of the most common prototype shades, a general-purpose mix seen across many parts of the network where local stone gave the trackbed a warm, earthy tone rather than the pale grey often assumed to be standard.

This coarse grade shaker holds 945cm3 of material. Coarse grade suits larger scales such as O gauge, or a freshly relaid mainline look where the stone is still large and sharp-edged rather than worn down by traffic. For the best results, apply with Deluxe Materials Ballast Bond rather than a standard glue, which spreads evenly and dries to a stronger, more durable finish.
