Description
This is the Woodland Scenics Buff medium ballast shaker. Buff ballast reflects limestone-based stone, historically common in the Midlands, where local quarries gave the trackbed a lighter, paler tone than the granite ballast used further north and west.
This medium grade shaker holds 945cm3 of material. This medium grade is the general-purpose option for most OO and HO layouts, a realistic stone size for mainline and secondary route ballasting alike. Deluxe Materials Ballast Bond is the better choice over a standard glue here, spreading evenly and giving a stronger, longer-lasting bond once dry.
