Description
This is the Woodland Scenics Brown medium ballast shaker. Brown ballast reflects one of the most common prototype shades, a general-purpose mix seen across many parts of the network where local stone gave the trackbed a warm, earthy tone rather than the pale grey often assumed to be standard.
This medium grade shaker holds 945cm3 of material. Medium grade is the general-purpose choice for most OO and HO layouts, giving a realistic stone size for typical mainline and secondary route ballasting. For the best results, apply with Deluxe Materials Ballast Bond rather than a standard glue, which spreads evenly and dries to a stronger, more durable finish.
