Description
This is the Woodland Scenics Cinders fine ballast shaker. Cinders ballast represents ash and clinker, historically associated with industrial areas and former coalfields, and famously the standard practice of the North Eastern Railway, carried on into LNER days, in preference to granite.
This fine grade shaker holds 945cm3 of material. This fine grade works well for smaller scales such as N gauge, or for a compact, well-worn look on branch lines and sidings where years of traffic have ground the stone down. Deluxe Materials Ballast Bond is the better choice over a standard glue here, spreading evenly and giving a stronger, longer-lasting bond once dry.
