Description
This is the Woodland Scenics Grey fine ballast shaker. Grey ballast represents the granite commonly used across Scotland and South West England, and is also the shade most associated with the consistent, crushed granite ballast seen on Britain’s modern mainlines.
This fine grade shaker holds 945cm3 of material. Fine grade suits smaller scales such as N gauge, or a tightly packed, well-established look on branch lines and sidings where the stone has been ground down over years of traffic. For the best results, apply with Deluxe Materials Ballast Bond rather than a standard glue, which spreads evenly and dries to a stronger, more durable finish.
