Description
This is the Woodland Scenics Brown fine ballast shaker. Brown ballast reflects one of the most common prototype shades, a general-purpose mix seen across many parts of the network where local stone gave the trackbed a warm, earthy tone rather than the pale grey often assumed to be standard.
This fine grade shaker holds 945cm3 of material. Fine grade suits smaller scales such as N gauge, or a tightly packed, well-established look on branch lines and sidings where the stone has been ground down over years of traffic. For the best results, apply with Deluxe Materials Ballast Bond rather than a standard glue, which spreads evenly and dries to a stronger, more durable finish.
