Description
This is the Airfix Junkers Ju52 model kit. The Junkers Ju52 began life as a single-engine cargo aircraft in October 1930, but within six months the three-engine version had taken over, offering better power and the safety of multiple engines. Built with a distinctive corrugated metal skin, the type proved tough and dependable, carrying up to seventeen passengers on Lufthansa’s early European routes before becoming the backbone of the Luftwaffe’s wartime transport fleet, and later serving as an air ambulance, paratroop transport, glider tug and even a minesweeper fitted with a magnetic degaussing ring.
This all-new Airfix tooling reproduces the Ju52/3mg4e in 1:72 scale with 218 parts, a skill level 3 build, and a completed wingspan of 444mm. Three authentic paint schemes are included, along with instruction sheet, paint layout sheet and decals.
