Description
This is the Rapido plain grey brake van model. A single veranda brake van was a common sight on narrow gauge lines everywhere, providing a guard’s lookout and braking position at the rear of a train, and this model represents that everyday but essential piece of narrow gauge operation.
This example is finished in Plain Grey livery, No.9.
This Rapido model runs on metal wheels and is fitted with NEM coupler pockets using OO9 ‘Hook and Loop’ couplings, compatible with other manufacturers’ narrow gauge stock. A high level of detail is captured both above and below the floor line, finished with a high-quality livery application, all to 1:76 scale (OO9 gauge) and designed in the UK.
