Description
This is the Rapido dark grey stake wagon 44 model. Agricultural produce and timber were regularly moved on narrow gauge stake wagons the world over, from the lumber lines of Western Australia to plantations in Indonesia and the Caribbean, and this model brings that international variety to a British-outline OO9 layout just as easily.
This example is finished in Plain Dark Grey livery, No.44.
Metal wheels and NEM coupler pockets fitted with OO9 ‘Hook and Loop’ couplings mean this Rapido model runs happily alongside other manufacturers’ narrow gauge stock. Detail is captured both above and below the floor line, with a high-quality livery finish, all to 1:76 scale (OO9 gauge) and designed in the UK.
