Description
This is the Rapido dark grey livestock wagon model. The arrival of narrow gauge railways in rural areas gave farmers considerably easier access to larger towns and ports, and this high-sided livestock wagon represents the vehicles used to move animals to market along those lines.
This example is finished in Plain Dark Grey livery, No.10.
This Rapido model runs on metal wheels and is fitted with NEM coupler pockets using OO9 ‘Hook and Loop’ couplings, compatible with other manufacturers’ narrow gauge stock. A high level of detail is captured both above and below the floor line, finished with a high-quality livery application, all to 1:76 scale (OO9 gauge) and designed in the UK.
