Description
This is the Rapido red ends manrider model. Workmen and miners on narrow gauge lines rarely travelled in comfort, and the humble manrider was pressed into service across many industries to move workers to and from the workface. It’s equally at home on a light or tourist railway layout as an industrial one.
This example is finished in Brown with Red Ends livery, No.23.
Metal wheels and NEM coupler pockets fitted with OO9 ‘Hook and Loop’ couplings mean this Rapido model runs happily alongside other manufacturers’ narrow gauge stock. Detail is captured both above and below the floor line, with a high-quality livery finish, all to 1:76 scale (OO9 gauge) and designed in the UK.
