Description
This is the Rapido tool wagon peaked roof model. This peaked roof van represents another common narrow gauge covered vehicle, its pitched roof suited to bulk goods that needed keeping dry in transit, from salt and lime to metal ores and general merchandise moving around quarries, mines and contractor’s lines.
This example is finished in Tool Wagon livery, No.22.
Metal wheels and NEM coupler pockets fitted with OO9 ‘Hook and Loop’ couplings mean this Rapido model runs happily alongside other manufacturers’ narrow gauge stock. Detail is captured both above and below the floor line, with a high-quality livery finish, all to 1:76 scale (OO9 gauge) and designed in the UK.
