Description

This is the Rapido Saxa Salt peaked roof van model. This peaked roof van represents another common narrow gauge covered vehicle, its pitched roof suited to bulk goods that needed keeping dry in transit, from salt and lime to metal ores and general merchandise moving around quarries, mines and contractor’s lines.

This example is finished in Saxa Salt livery, No.3.

This Rapido model runs on metal wheels and is fitted with NEM coupler pockets using OO9 ‘Hook and Loop’ couplings, compatible with other manufacturers’ narrow gauge stock. A high level of detail is captured both above and below the floor line, finished with a high-quality livery application, all to 1:76 scale (OO9 gauge) and designed in the UK.
