Description
This is the Rapido Midnight Oil tank wagon model. Narrow gauge railways moved far more than just slate and coal, and this cylindrical tank wagon represents the liquids side of that traffic, everything from oils and dairy products to industrial chemicals, suited to oil refineries, dairies, distilleries, breweries and chemical works alike.
This example is finished in Midnight Oil livery, No.53.
This Rapido model runs on metal wheels and is fitted with NEM coupler pockets using OO9 ‘Hook and Loop’ couplings, compatible with other manufacturers’ narrow gauge stock. A high level of detail is captured both above and below the floor line, finished with a high-quality livery application, all to 1:76 scale (OO9 gauge) and designed in the UK.
