Description
This is the Rapido Sulphuric Acid tank wagon model. Narrow gauge railways moved far more than just slate and coal, and this cylindrical tank wagon represents the liquids side of that traffic, everything from oils and dairy products to industrial chemicals, suited to oil refineries, dairies, distilleries, breweries and chemical works alike.
This example is finished in Sulphuric Acid livery, No.62.
Metal wheels and NEM coupler pockets fitted with OO9 ‘Hook and Loop’ couplings mean this Rapido model runs happily alongside other manufacturers’ narrow gauge stock. Detail is captured both above and below the floor line, with a high-quality livery finish, all to 1:76 scale (OO9 gauge) and designed in the UK.
