This is the Rapido Merionetshire Coal dropside model. Rapido’s OO9 All-Purpose Wagon range covers the everyday, general merchandise side of narrow gauge goods traffic, and this dropside open wagon is a natural fit for conventional loads that needed loading and unloading from the side, from coal and stone to general parcels and produce.

This example is finished in Merionetshire Coal Co. livery, No.9.

This Rapido model runs on metal wheels and is fitted with NEM coupler pockets using OO9 ‘Hook and Loop’ couplings, compatible with other manufacturers’ narrow gauge stock. A high level of detail is captured both above and below the floor line, finished with a high-quality livery application, all to 1:76 scale (OO9 gauge) and designed in the UK.
